Connections to the Cheshiahud Lake Union Loop trail with enhanced walkways and greenery, plus reconfigured parking areas 🌳
40,000 sqft of available retail space on the ground floor and upper levels of all four buildings, so you can shop till you drop

Daniel’s Broiler, Waterways Cruises, and Northwest Yacht Brokers Association will stay on site, but future restaurant + hospitality businesses are still TBD. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, if you’re looking for something to do while you wait for Lake Union Piers to make its grand debut, check out the Boats Afloat Show at the pier, which is still scheduled this year despite planned construction. Or look into MOHAI + the Center for Wooden Boats — both museums are within walking distance of the project and will totally get you in that lakeside-loving mood.

Goodbye to a longtime Belltown favorite. Restaurateur Marcus Charles announced that his farm-to-table neighborhood spot Local 360 is closing for good. He’s putting the place up for sale and hopes to find a buyer who will be an “active member of the community” for years to come.

TikTok, you don’t stop. The social media company has been growing its corporate presence rapidly in the Seattle area and is now in the middle of a hiring spree. Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell announced appointments for three major cabinet positions in his administration. A celebration is in order. Seattle chef Kalenna Bliss won the Food Network’s “Chopped: Casino Royale” tournament on Tuesday night. Traffic

For the first time in more than 10 years, the western loop at Volunteer Park recently reopened to cars via a construction-related detour. Officials for Seattle Parks and Recreation say the change is only temporary to help folks with mobility challenges access the area until construction is complete. (Capitol Hill Blog)

Seahawks star Russell Wilson and wife Ciara opened their first brick-and-mortar clothing shop The House of LR&C in the U Village this week — and we’re buggin’ out, y’all. The store sells items from their own fashion brand of the same name like the gender-inclusive streetwear line Human Nation.

The space is also all about fancy tech with Flowcodes (elaborate QR codes) + augmented reality as part of the shopping experience. Get out those phones and start ‘gramming.

Editor's pick: I try not to get into pizza debates too often. But anyone who says they can't find a good pie in Seattle hasn't tried MOTO in West Seattle yet. The shop's deep dish square slices are deserving of all the love — particularly the Dungeness crab topped version. Preorders often sell out months in advance, but they have some items available for walk-ins, too.
