Er, wait, did we miss a stop? One Reddit user recently spotted a Sound Transit train on the back of a flatbed truck alllll the way out in Nebraska. But, no, it didn’t get lost — the cars are actually manufactured in other parts of the country, then shipped out here when they’re ready to ride.
A spokesperson for Sound Transit said it looks like this is a new Tacoma Link vehicle making the cross-country trip. That’s some serious mileage. |

Editor's pick: Nettle + asparagus soup, anyone? If you haven't checked out Off Alley in Columbia City yet, I'd highly recommend putting it on your list. The restaurant always brings in the most seasonal ingredients, with small shareable plates + great natural wines. If you get there early, try to score one of the small patio tables outside (inside is a bit tight).
