#SEATODAY
We hope you enjoyed all the funny animal videos and online shopping. According to several signs that popped up in odd places around Seattle this year, the internet ends today.
The message has been seen everywhere from speed limit signs like this one to sushi restaurant marquee boards to fake campaign signs. It’s likely a viral marketing scheme, but an ominous online countdown certainly keeps the mystery alive.

Editor's Pick: Because I have a lot of performer friends, I always end up doing a sort of unintentional tour of the local Nutcracker shows — I was even in one myself as a toy soldier in 2019. I've already got the Pacific Northwest Ballet's show under my belt this year (stunning, by the way), so it's on to the Burlesque Nutcracker next! Hope to see you there.
