Gabe here. Being from the East Coast originally, I’ve always been fascinated by this rainy city’s aversion to umbrellas. There are many reasons for this, including: “You’re going to get wet every day anyway, so why bother with an annoying encumbrance?” But I’m now a convert. Get a warm, stylish waterproof jacket with a solid hood and you’re good to go.
